AMPANG JAYA, Nov 14 — Rodziah Ismail carries a complaint card every time she campaigns, to list the problems and demands of Ampang’s residents
The Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Ampang parliamentary seat in the ongoing 15th general election (GE15), said many complaints have been received in the eight days of campaigning.
“InsyaAllah, I will look into these complaints. Every time I meet the people, there are only those who ask (about applications) and follow-up to their problems, yet there is no progress.
“This is the 54th list on my card. 54 hopes from the surrounding residents (of Ampang) who applied,” she said after greeting residents at Flat Taman Cahaya, yesterday.
Rodziah added she will organise and plan all the requests and complaints submitted, if she succeeds in capturing Ampang in GE15.
“In the event that I win, I will organise, categorise and plan out how the problems can be solved,” she said.
Meanwhile, film director and actor Datuk Gerald Hans Isaac asked Ampang voters to study the background of each candidate, before electing the area’s representative on November 19.
The 51-year-old, popularly known as Hans Isaac, said research is important for voters to not make mistakes and instead choose a candidate suitable for bearing the trust and responsibilities of the people.
“This is the most important time, so I am asking for the vote of people who can work. Do not vote merely because their pictures are displayed everywhere or we know a familiar name.
“It is better to ponder and study who the candidates are. For me personally, the right candidate in Ampang is Rodziah Ismail, the number one candidate of Harapan,” he said.
