Harapan able to recover economy, stabilise the country, says Shah Alam candidate

SHAH ALAM, Nov 12 — Pakatan Harapan (Harapan) has the ability to recover the economy as well as to stabilise the nation should it be given the five-year mandate to govern the country.

Harapan’s candidate for the Shah Alam parliamentary seat Azli Yusof said the people have the right to vote for a more credible government if the coalition fails to prove their ability within the stipulated period.

“Harapan wants to prove to the Malaysian citizens that the coalition would be able to recover the economy and stabilise the nation towards a better direction.

“Therefore, should we be given the mandate in the 15th general election (GE15), we will ensure that the people won’t be burdened by corruption and betrayals,” he said in a ceramah during the Ceramah Mega Shah Alam event at Section 17, here last night.

Azli also reiterated his confidence in winning the seat under the Harapan ticket.

“I received warm welcome from Shah Alam residents throughout the first week of campaigning, and most of them are also familiar with me,” he said.

In the upcoming GE15, Azli will contest against Dr Afif Bahardin from Perikatan Nasional, Ishak Jalil (Barisan Nasional) and Rafique Rashid (Pejuang).
