Temporary disruption of LRT services between Kelana Jaya, KLCC stations

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 — The Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line is facing service disruptions between Kelana Jaya station and KLCC station.

Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, operator of the LRT, Mass Transit (MRT) and Monorail services, in a statement tonight said problems with the automatic driving system near the KLCC LRT station started at 8.39pm, causing service disruptions.

“Our engineers are working to identify the glitch. To get the latest service status, please follow Rapid KL’s social media,” it said.

Meanwhile, Rapid Rail in a statement released tonight said to ensure the safety of commuters, services between Ampang Park and Kelana Jaya have been temporarily stopped starting 10.15pm.

“Free shuttle bus services from station to station has been arranged to ferry passengers who are stranded at both stations. Commuters are also urged to use alternative transport initiatives.

“We regret the inconvenience caused by the disruption of services and Rapid Rail wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused,” said the company in the statement.
