SHAH ALAM, Dec 28 — The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) continues the Jualan Ehsan Rakyat (JER) programme in nearly 700 new locations starting next year’s January 15.

Its group chief executive officer Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Radzi said the sales programme, which will be known as JER2.0, will be offering bread as well.

“We will restart JER2.0 from January 15 until March 2023.

“We will be selling the same six basic items as before and will add items such as bread that will be sold at a lower price,” he told SelangorKini.

According to Mohamad Khairil, JER2.0 will be held in nine locations per day and every Friday including public holidays.

On December 14, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari informed that more than two million Selangor residents have benefitted from the JER programme that was held since last September.

He also announced an allocation of between RM10 and RM15 million to continue the sales programme for three months starting January 15.
