SHAH ALAM, Dec 26 — The Klang Municipal Council will begin repairing a severely damaged road at Sungai Kapar Indah Industrial Area in Meru, Klang tomorrow.

Its state assemblyman Mohd Fakhrulrazi Mohd Mokhtar said the local council was aware of the problem with the road, which is said to have potholes and could endanger the safety of its users.

“Before this, MPK had closed the road as they were concerned it could cause unwanted incidents thus causing people to blame relevant parties.

“However, the action has enraged people because it makes their daily commute more difficult. I have asked MPK to repair the road, InsyaAllah (god willing) tomorrow,” he said when contacted by SelangorKini.

Previously, road users claimed that the pothole was 1.52 metres deep and is more dangerous when water stagnates, increasing the risk of accidents.

The situation has also worried road users who claimed their vehicles were damaged due to the damaged route.
