SHAH ALAM, Jan 12 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is planning 10 housing projects in strategic locations throughout this year.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said the projects will be situated near a network of public facilities, which include Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations, hospitals, and schools.

“We are planning a total of 10 projects this year, estimated to be RM1 billion in gross development value (GDV), subject to market capacity.

“PKNS is aiming for the projects to be in the cities of Shah Alam, Bangi and Cyberjaya, among others. These residences will be suitable for individuals who want to buy their first homes,” he said.
