Yayasan Selangor opens application for Form One intake

SHAH ALAM, Jan 4 — Yayasan Selangor has opened the application for admission to Form One under the Special Education Plan of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) until January 15.

The agency said a total of 500 spots in 28 schools throughout Selangor and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur have been allocated for successful candidates.

“Priority will be given to rural pupils in primary schools or private schools in Selangor that are registered under the MOE.

“To be eligible for the programme, applicants or their parents must be Selangor citizens who have resided for at least 10 years with a household income of below RM2,000 monthly.

“They also must be Malaysian citizens and applicants must be physically, mentally and emotionally fit,” it said.

Applications can be made online at www.yayasanselangor.org.my.
