117 MBSJ staff awarded for outstanding service

SHAH ALAM, Feb 18 — A total of 117 employees of the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has received the Outstanding Service Award (APC) for the year 2022 in a ceremony held at the Shah Alam Convention Center, here last night.

Its deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali said the award was in recognition of the employees who had performed their duties with complete dedication.

He said each of the recipients received a certificate of appreciation and Sijil Simpanan Premium (Premium Savings Certificate) worth RM1,000.

“Congratulations to the recipient. We hope this would boost the inspiration to serve even more effectively and with dedication and enthusiasm.

“I hope this award would encourage other employees to continue in improving the quality of service help MBSJ maintain its position as a prominent local authority in the state,” he said at the 2022 MBSJ Outstanding Service Award ceremony, which was officiated by Deputy Secretary of the State Government (Development) Dato’ Johary Anuar.

During the event, MBSJ also celebrated 19 retirees who served the local council for more than 25 years and gave certificates of appreciation and consolation money of RM1,200.

The ceremony also presented three additional awards, namely the Mayor’s Special Award, the Special Innovation Award and the Special Sports Award, which had driven MSBJ to the state, national and international levels.
