KUALA SELANGOR, Feb 26 — Two hot air balloons were flown around Dataran Esplanade Eco Grandeur in Puncak Alam, as part of the Jelajah Selangor Kita Penyayang (JKSP) roadshow for the Kuala Selangor state constituency, earlier today.
The balloons flew for an hour, beginning at 9am, which enabled around 30 early visitors to ride it for free.
One of them was state executive councillor for human capital development Mohd Khairuddin Othman, who rode the balloon for five minutes. before inaugurating the roadshow.
Representing the Menteri Besar, he said he expected over 4,000 visitors to take part in JKSP Kuala Selangor, which ends at 5pm.
“For the first time ever, we are bringing hot air balloons to JKSP. This is a difference that makes us proud of Kuala Selangor.
“The roadshow is also to allow us to approach the people in a more caring manner, as well as to publicise the state government’s 44 initiatives,” Mohd Khairuddin said during the event.
JKSP features a variety of activities and events, including free health screenings, the sale of affordable basic necessities, exhibitions, and leisure events.
Kuala Selangor is the fourth stop of the roadshow, after Klang, Hulu Selangor, and Gombak.
