HULU LANGAT, March 4 — The Sungai Ramal state constituency will see the Projek Selangor Penyayang initiative commence this month, with a RM500,000 allocation.

Its state assemblyman Mazwan Johar said this will include the maintenance and upgrading of public infrastructure projects, like sports facilities.

“Aspects that will be paid attention to and emphasised include infrastructure maintenance projects like bus shelters. This includes areas like Universiti Kuala Lumpur for student usage, and Taman Impian Ehsan as many B40 residents use the bus service there.

“Alongside this, sports facilities will also be looked at, based on residents’ requests as they want the facilities repaired so they can enjoy their leisure activities in greater comfort,” he said when met today.

Earlier on, Mazwan joined Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and his wife Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad for breakfast at the Section 1 food court, across the road from the Bandar Baru Bangi wet market.

Later on, Amirudin went on a walkabout to the market, stopping to chat with shoppers and traders in the area, as well as courteously agreeing to pose for pictures when asked by members of the public.

The Menteri Besar also kickstarted his visit to the Hulu Langat district for the Jelajah Kita Selangor Penyayang roadshow programme, with Subuh prayers at Masjid Teras Jernang alongside 100 congregants.
