SHAH ALAM, April 30 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has issued a notice to the developer responsible for an illegal land embankment which was used as a place to park lorries Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) bins in Taman Perindustrian Puchong Utama, Puchong, on Friday (April 28).
It said the site was also used as an illegal waste dump.
“Our investigation revealed land reclamation work, including waste, and the site is used as a parking lot for lorries and RORO barrels.
“In reference to the land use plan, it was supposed to be a part of the developer’s development site. As such, MBSJ has cordoned the area off with tape, to prevent any parties from entering the site, with monitoring carried out from time to time,” MBSJ said in a Facebook post.
The council added a notice under Section 70A (9) Act 133 of the Roads, Drains and Buildings Act 1974 was issued to the developer. Should no action be taken on the site, a RM25,000 compound will be imposed.
A notice under Section 26 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172), which is a D Notice, will be issued to the developer, in order to restore the land to its original condition.
