Parents encouraged to apply for RM100 kindergarten incentive, limited to two children

SHAH ALAM, April 6 — Approximately 3,355 children from the ages of five to six stand a chance at benefitting from RM100 in kindergarten care incentives, according to Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor (Yawas)

Its assistant corporate manager Sharizan Mohd Shariff said the registration process for Skim Bantuan Tadika Selangor (Tunas) remains open, so as to ensure families will be able to fully derive from the benefits.

“Priority will be given to working parents who send their children to any kindergarten registered with the Social Welfare Department of.

“Each approved applying family is limited to two children.This RM100 incentive per person will be paid directly to the kindergarten operator,” he told SelangorKini.

Sharizan added the initiative is aimed at families with a monthly household income of RM5,000 and below, alongside children born and residing in Selangor.

“Another eligibility condition is both the children’s parents must be registered voters with the Election Commission,” he said.
