SHAH ALAM, May 17 — A total of RM70,000 has been allocated for the maintenance and upgrade of Masjid Saidina Ali’s infrastructure, in Bukit Sentosa, Rawang.

Batang Kali state constituency coordinator Saifuddin Shafi Muhammad informed said of this amount, RM50,000 was derived from Projek Selangor Penyayang (PSP) 1.

“The PSP 1 allocation will be used for upgrading and repaving Masjid Saidina Ali’s square.

“The remaining RM20,000 was provided by the Batang Kali state constituency’s people’s service centre’s small projects allocation, which will go to the renovation and installation of the mosque’s roof,” he said in a Facebook post.

Saifuddin Shafi said he hopes the efforts will be greatly beneficial for everybody.

“The section of the mosque used by its management as a funeral path has already been completed, while we will expedite the other parts in question.

During the tabling of the 2023 Selangor Budget on November 25 last year, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said RM28 million will be allocated to PSP, as part of the state government’s efforts to stimulate and boost the local economy by providing small projects for the benefit of local residents.
