KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 — Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad today denied the claim that his offer was called in by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to assist in its investigation.
He also denied the allegation that he had sacked the officer over the alleged probe.
“So far, none of my officers have been called by the MACC,” Nik Nazmi said in a statement.
However, if there is any investigation, he stressed that he and any of his officers are ready to give full cooperation to the authorities.
Yesterday, a news portal claimed that Nik Nazmi and Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil had sacked their respective officers over the alleged probe.
