SHAH ALAM, May 3 — More than 7,000 job opportunities across various sectors are on offer to interested seekers, during the Karnival Kerjaya Selangor 2023 event on the weekend.
State executive councillor for work empowerment V Ganabatirau said the carnival will take place in Dewan Hamzah, Klang, and feature over 30 employers and companies promoting their vacancies, from 9am to 5pm.
“The various fields with employment opportunities include manufacturing, services, banking, food handling, and hospitality, among others.
“An interview session will also be conducted for job seekers who come to the carnival. Those interested can bring their résumés in preparation,” he said when contacted.
Ganabatirau added that Karnival Kerjaya Selangor 2023, jointly organised by the Human Resources Ministry and the Selangor Workers’ Empowerment Unit (UPPS), is also looking to target up to 1,000 visitors.
“So for all those seeking employment, do not miss this opportunity. Come to the carnival, where many opportunities await you,” he said.
