Agong graces unveiling of Teleport’s A321F freighter

SEPANG, July 12 — The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah attended the unveiling of Teleport’s Airbus 321 freighter (A321F), earlier today.

The A321F is poised to solidify Teleport, the logistics venture of Capital A Bhd, as a full-fledged air logistics provider and a leading ASEAN air logistics player.

His Majesty congratulated Capital A and Teleport at the unveiling of the A321F and hoped their logistics service would grow further to dominate the Southeast Asia skies.

“Teleport’s A321F showcases Malaysian companies growing into a regional champion in every way and other Malaysian companies should emulate their success,” said Al-Sultan Abdullah.

Teleport was founded in 2018 by consolidating the unused passenger flight belly capacity of all AirAsia airlines under one network.

Teleport’s A321F will operate from Kuala Lumpur with the flexibility to be based in Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila.

Also present at the event were Transport Minister Anthony Loke, Capital A chief executive officer (CEO) Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, and Teleport CEO Pete Chareonwongsak.
