Selangor unveils five-year report card, details achievements

SHAH ALAM, July 13 — The Selangor state government has unveiled its five-year report card, detailing its achievements from 2018 to 2023 under the leadership of Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

The 161-page document listed the state’s numerous people-oriented schemes and initiatives, particularly what the Pakatan Harapan-led administration has done to spur the state’s economy post-pandemic.

The future plans for the state are also spelt out in the report.

“Five years of a prosperous and glorious Selangor. Alhamdulillah, I am delighted to launch the Achievement and Success Report Card of the Selangor state government from 2018 to 2023.

“The people of Selangor, the media, and all segments of society are invited to download the report regarding the administration of the state government throughout these five years,’’ he said in a Facebook post today.

Selangor has become an important economic powerhouse, contributing 25.5 per cent to the national economy, according to recent data released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia.
