KLANG, Aug 30 — The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) is offering discounts as low as RM15 for its parking compounds, in conjunction with the National Day celebrations.
Its president Noraini Roslan said the offer is applicable from August 21 to September 17.
However, compounds issued for illegal parking on reserved bays for the disabled, as well as traffic obstruction, do not qualify for the discount.
“We urge the public to seize this golden opportunity by settling their compound arrears, before further action is taken,” she said during the MPK meeting earlier today.
Payments can be made via JomPay, MPK’s iKiosk, or at ipay.mpklang.gov.my. The public can also obtain further information by contacting 03-33758038 or 03-33758037.
Meanwhile, MPK will be conducting a blood donation drive and free basic health checkup at the Sultan Abdul Samad mini auditorium here on September 5.
Noraini said the programme will be open to the public beginning at 9am, and is held in cooperation with the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, the district health department, Klinik Kesihatan Anika, and optical company Trendy Eye Hub.
