SHAH ALAM, Aug 27 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is confident its target of building 5,000 housing units across the state via six development projects can be achieved by the end of this year.

Its deputy chief executive officer (management and entrepreneurship) Suhaimi Kasdon said several projects including Residensi Advena in Section 16, and Puteri Ariana in Kota Puteri, Rawang, are currently being constructed.

Alhamdulillah, the construction of two-story terrace houses and apartments launched by PKNS has started and is progressing quite well.

“As for its sales, it will depend on the project. For example, in Puteri Ariana, 70 per cent of the 72 units have been sold so far,” he said.

Speaking at the launch of the Home Buyer 2023 programme at Kompleks PKNS yesterday, Suhaimi added the housing construction project in Antara Gapi, Serendah, Hulu Selangor, will be launched in October.

On May 1, he was reported to have said PKNS is targeting approximately RM1 billion in gross development value for six new property development projects by the end of this year.

These projects involve over 5,000 housing units in various locations, including Shah Alam, Kota Puteri, Kuala Selangor, Antara Gapi, and Selangor Cyber Valley.
