Hijrah Selangor offers up to RM50,000 to help entrepreneurs with digital expansion

SHAH ALAM, Sept 1 — Yayasan Hijrah Selangor is inviting entrepreneurs in the state seeking to expand their businesses to apply for financing under the Go Digital Hijrah scheme.

The offer is open to entrepreneurs with financing of up to RM50,000, subject to the qualifying criteria.

“The Go Digital Hijrah scheme was created to assist entrepreneurs in transforming their business methods towards digitisation, via the latest and modern platforms.

“With digital business marketing, it can help enhance the marketability of products and services, ultimately maximising online sales profits,” it said in a Facebook post.

In addition to Go Digital, Hijrah also offers other schemes schemes like i-Bisnes, Zero to Hero, Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDI), i-Agro, i-Lestari, and i-Bermusim.

To qualify, applicants must be:

  • A Malaysian citizen.
  • A resident or permanent resident in Selangor for more than five years.
  • A registered voter in Selangor.
  • With a business already in operation.
  • Has a specific business premise.
  • Aged between 18 and 65 years old.
