KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 – Owing to surging demand, only 10 per cent of exhibition booths are left available for prospective participants at the Selangor Smart City and Digital Economy Convention (SDEC 2023), which is set to take place this October in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2023.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the eighth iteration of the event, hosted by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec), promises to be a confluence of premier industry leaders in the biotechnology sector and strongly urged stakeholders to register promptly, to ensure that they do not miss out on leveraging this invaluable networking platform.
“Sidec will be organising the SDEC 2023 with this year’s theme being ‘Revolutionising the Digital Landscape through AI, Net Zero, and Biotech’, with opportunities to dive deeper into some of the most enlightening conversations on technology and sustainability while making our cities and townships more livable.
“I am told that out of the 250 exhibition booths, only 10 per cent are still available, and I would like to invite those of you here who might be interested to snap up this opportunity to join what will be a gathering of companies at the forefront of health technology, smart cities, smart agriculture including in the biotechnology space,” he said at the launch of the Selangor E-Commerce Xccelerator (ECX23) and the sixth cohort of the Selangor Accelerator Programme (SAP) 2023 held at Menara Affin, here today.
SIBS 2023 will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from October 19 to 22 and is expected to draw about 50,000 visitors, including industry players from Southeast Asia, East Asia, and South Asia.
Apart from SDEC 2023, the other five main components of the summit include the Selangor International Expo (SIE) for Food and Beverages, the SIE for Medic, the Selangor Industrial Park Expo, the Selangor Asean Business Conference, and the Selangor Research and Development and Innovation Expo.
The global trade summit features three primary conferences and discussions spanning 13 diverse topics helmed by 65 seasoned speakers.
