Tawas members urged to update contact info to assist aid distribution

SHAH ALAM, Sept 5 — Parents or guardians of children registered with Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor (Tawas) who will enter first grade next year are asked to update their contact information to facilitate the distribution of aid.

Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor (Yawas) said the updates must be completed by October 16 at the latest to enable members to receive calls from School Entry Assistance Programme  administrators.

“Attention to parents or guardians of Tawas members born in 2017, who will be attending first grade in 2024, please update your contact information immediately at https://tawas.yawas.my/login.php.

“This is to prevent your child from potentially missing out on the school entry assistance that will be held soon,” said the agency in a post on Facebook today.

Tawas was launched in 2008 and is open to children born in Selangor, who meet the requirements, and are registered before the child is three years old.

Members will receive RM1,500 when they turn 18.
