SHAH ALAM, Oct 21 — Residents in the state capital will have the opportunity to air their grouses and share feedback pertaining to the city directly to the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) during its ‘Hari Mesra’ programme this Tuesday (October 24).

MBSA corporate and public relations head Mohd Azhar Mohd Sharif said the initiative is in line with the council’s commitment to improve its delivery system to the public.

It also offers the respective departments, divisions, and branch offices under the council the chance to promote their services to the public.

The programme, held in conjunction with the 23rd anniversary of Shah Alam’s city status, will take place at Central i-City in Section 7, from 11am to 7pm.

He said at the event, the public can also get a RM10 discount on their parking compounds and up to 75 per cent discount on other selected compounds.

“The first 50 customers will also get free goodies,” Azhar said in a statement today.

Additionally, MBSA will offer various services during Hari Mesra, including assessment tax and compound payments, and checking of renovation applications.

The participating departments include the Licensing Department, Engineering Department, Building Department, Landscape Department, Planning Department, and Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Department.
