Interesting events drawn up for ‘One Year With Madani Government’ — MPC

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 — Various interesting events have been drawn up for the “One Year with Madani Government” programme to be held from Dec 8 to 10 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) Deputy Director-General Dr Mohamad Norjayadi Tamam said 24 ministries will participate in providing a variety of services to the public throughout the three-day programme.

“The programme is categorised into events at the main tent, main stage, and outdoors. The main tent event involves exhibitions and services provided by the government, through the participation of the 24 ministries.

“The outdoor events include exhibitions and mobile services suitable for all walks of life,” he said when appearing as a guest on the Selamat Pagi Malaysia programme on TV1 today.

These include student registration for public institutions of higher learning, a programme for entrepreneurs involving business opportunities and coordination, as well as 300 stalls offering Rahmah and Madani iSales.

The most interesting event is the helmet exchange where over 3,000 new helmets will be given to the target groups such as food delivery riders, he added.

He also said MPC will display information on MyMudah and its achievements, an initiative that was introduced to reduce bureaucracy faced by traders.

“In line with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s wish under the Madani Economy for Malaysia to be in the top 12 of the Global Competitiveness Index, we are also implementing a programme to assist traders in solving their issues together.

“The MyMudah programme actually involves the ministry and business associations to identify problems that prevent traders from starting a business,” he said.

To provide easier access for the public to go to the venue of the programme,  several parking sites have been allocated, he said, adding that visitors can also take public transport from pre-set locations such as Endah Parade, Pavillion Bukit Jalil, Teknologi Park Malaysia and Astro.
