2,338 evacuees still at nine relief centres in Pasir Mas this evening

KOTA BHARU, Dec 6 — Fine weather with no rain all day in Pasir Mas saw the number of flood evacuees in the district continue to drop to 2,338 people from 756 families, as of 8 tonight compared with 3,260 people from 989 families, reported this morning.

According to the Info Bencana portal of the Social Welfare Department, all evacuees are accommodated at nine temporary relief centres in the district.

The relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Gual Tinggi currently houses 92 people from 14 families; SK Gual To’Deh currently houses 748 people from 245 families and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Gual Periok currently houses 153 people from 41 families.

SMK Baroh Pial relief centre accommodates 371 people from 140 families; SK Kedai Tanjong accommodates 48 people from 13 families and SK Gual Periok currently houses 252 people from 74 families.

Three more relief centres are Madrasah Tasek Bakong accommodates 33 people from 10 families; Mukim Padang Licin Mosque has 320 people from 119 families and SK Sri Kiambang accommodates 321 people from 100 families.
