SHAH ALAM, Dec 17 — All museums under the supervision of the Selangor Malay Customs and Heritage Corporation (Padat) will remain open every day throughout the school holiday period.
In a Facebook post, it said this starts today until January 1 next year, with operating hours starting from 9.30am to 5.30 pm.
The six museums under Padat’s supervision include Muzium Sultan Alam Shah in Shah Alam, Muzium Insitu at Jugra in Kuala Langat, and Muzium Sabak Bernam.
They also include Istana Bandar in Kuala Langat, as well as Muzium Sejarah Kuala Selangor and Muzium Permainan Tradisional in Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor.
Padat, formerly known as the Selangor Museum Board, is an organisation focusing on exhibition activities, research, publishing, and collection since 1975.
It is under the patronage of the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, and is specifically tasked with developing, preserving, and disseminating Malay customs and the state’s heritage.
