SHAH ALAM, Dec 21 — The Selangor Ramadan Festival (Festira) next year is set to be more vibrant, with an increased number of participating entrepreneurs and a wider variety of items on sale.

PKNS Real Estate Sdn Bhd (PREC) chief executive officer Fakru Radzi Ab Ghani said the annual event has been received well by visitors from across the state, subsequently helping to boost traders’ income.

“Festira 2024 is set to attract the participation of more entrepreneurs with various types of goods on sale. We plan to expand the programme by adding more food and beverage, clothing, and cultural booths along SACC Walk.

“PREC will also collaborate with various agencies to organise multiple events, especially at SACC Mall, to attract more visitors,” he told reporters after officiating the Createpreneur Finale 2023 entrepreneurship programme at SACC Mall, here, yesterday.

This year’s Festira, held from March 5 to April 21, welcomed 2.5 million visitors and was participated by approximately 1,000 entrepreneurs, marking a significant increase from the 700 participants in the previous year.

The 48-day event, themed ‘Festira-Ya!’, was held at the Shah Alam PKNS Complex, Bangi PKNS Complex, and SACC Mall.
