Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative was also to ensure the comfort of visitors.

“God willing, the State Government is ready to improve the facilities at Zoo Negara located in line with the increase in the number of visitors and current needs,” he said on Facebook.

On January 27, the prime minister announced the allocation of RM5 million for the development of the center in addition to the addition of another RM5 million in funds collected through the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
