KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 — The Top E-Commerce Merchant (ECM) Awards 2024, a platform to recognise outstanding e-commerce businesses, is now open for entries, according to the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec).
The state government agency said it is calling for the participation of merchants who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in the digital commerce space.
“With a growing prize pool reaching RM100,000 in value, including cash prizes, exclusive e-trade incentives, and comprehensive e-commerce training, the Top ECM Awards is set to propel Malaysian e-commerce merchants to new heights of success and recognition,” it said in a statement today.
The Top ECM Awards has been expanded to include new criteria such as an online sales contest, livestream contest, and e-commerce training — all designed to elevate participants’ skills and online presence, Sidec said.
Sidec said e-commerce merchants based in Malaysia are encouraged to submit their entries starting on February 1, with eligibility criteria and submission guidelines detailed on the Top ECM Awards official website.
The deadline for entry submission is February 29. Judging will occur from March 18 to March 31, while the awards ceremony will be held on May 7.
