Free Aidilfitri bulk waste collection in MBSJ areas

SHAH ALAM, March 16 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is offering to collect bulk waste for free in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations next month.

It said the offer is applicable for landed properties in areas within MBSJ’s jurisdiction. The collection, which will be carried out by KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM), will begin tomorrow and will run until April 5.

“Priority will be given to residents and households celebrating Aidilfitri. Bulk waste is defined as mattresses, old furniture, and similar objects.

“This does not include waste from home renovations or house moving, electrical products, or recycled products,” said the council in a Facebook post today.

Those interested may apply to KDEBWM by contacting 03 8081 4437 or by messaging 011 3558 4437 on WhatsApp.

“Applicants will be contacted by KDEBWM to set the collection date, and must place the bulk waste in front of their homes,” MBSJ said.
