Raja Muda visits Serendah orphans, presents over RM70,000 in Yide funds

HULU SELANGOR, March 23 — Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah graciously visited the orphans at Masjid Nurul Iman in Serendah today and presented them with a generous contribution for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

His Highness’ arrival at the mosque was welcomed by Yayasan Islam Darul Ehsan (Yide) chairman Tan Sri Mazlan Mansor, as well as state executive councillor for Islamic affairs Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah.

At the event, His Highness presented Yide’s Aidilfitri donations worth RM73,050 to 487 orphans.

Tengku Amir also presented the appointment credentials to three Yide Ketua Sahabat Prihatin for Hulu Selangor, who are responsible for identifying new orphans in need of assistance.

His Highness then carried out his congregational Zohor prayer after a Ramadan reminder session conducted by Muhammad Hafiz Mohd Haneefa, or more popularly known as PU Hafiz.
