Anwar hands over donation to cover disabled infant’s medical costs

KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim presented a donation to Tasnim Al-Ulya Amali Mohammad Raji today to cover the medical costs of the three-year-old girl, who is permanently disabled.

In a Facebook post, he said the donation was delivered by his political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi to the girl’s father Mohammad Raji Musa, during his visit to the family residence in Sungai Buloh.

“To lighten the burden, I have handed over a donation to cover Tasnim’s medical costs to her father,” Anwar said.

The Prime Minister also prayed that the affairs of the girl and her family would be eased.

Meanwhile, in another Facebook post, Anwar said Farhan also visited pioneer ‘Reformasi’ activist Roselan Mat, better known as Cik Lan, in Kota Damansara today.

He said Roselan has a chronic health problem and is unable to find a source of income to take care of his family.

During the visit, Farhan also handed a donation to take care of his daily expenses and medication.

“I pray that he be blessed with the strength to continue his daily routine with his loved ones, InsyaAllah,” said Anwar.
