MB, excos feature in Aidilfitri telefilm, to be aired Friday

SHAH ALAM, April 13 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and several state executive councillors will be making a special appearance in a Hari Raya Aidilfitri telefilm, which will be aired next Friday.

Amirudin will take on a significant role in the Ayah Panggil Balik film, playing the character Tuan Kamil alongside several renowned actors such as Zaidi Omar, Fazlina Ahmad Daud, and Syafie Naswip.

Among the state executive councillors who will make an appearance are Dato’ Ng Suee Lim, Borhan Aman Shah and V. Papparaidu.

The drama, which centres around family conflicts, also emphasises on unity and harmony.

It will also promote several state initiatives under Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP), including Roda Darul Ehsan, Selangor Basic Technology Loan Scheme and housing loans.

Ayah Panggil Balik tells a story of conflict faced by Cikgu Zainal’s family, which led to him forcing his two children, Fendi and Husna, out of the village.

However, the presence of Tuan Kamil helped the siblings adapt and succeed in city life, subsequently bringing the family back together.

The telefilm, which was shot in Kuala Langat and Shah Alam, airs on TV2 at 9pm.
