MBSA provides free transportation for disabled, elderly to selected medical facilities

SHAH ALAM, April 16 — The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) provides free transportation for senior citizens to access treatment at eight selected hospitals and medical centres.

In a Facebook post yesterday, it said the same service is also offered to holders of disabled person cards from Monday to Friday, from 830am to 5pm.

Currently, two modified vans tailored to disabled persons’ needs are provided for this purpose, along with one Proton Exora unit to transport senior citizens.

The hospitals and medical centres include:

  • Shah Alam Hospital
  • Section 7 Health Clinic
  • Section 19 Health Clinic
  • Bukit Kuda Health Clinic
  • Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital
  • Sungai Buloh Hospital
  • Sungai Buloh Health Clinic
  • University Malaya Medical Center

Reservations for the service must be made two weeks in advance by contacting the MBSA Community Development Department at 03-5522 2732 or 03-55105133 extension 1381.
