PAKATAN-BERSATU cooperation a good start

BY: NORHAYATI UMOR
SUBANG JAYA, DEC 15: The agreement for cooperation between Pakatan Harapan (PAKATAN) and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU), is described as a good start to create understanding between the opposition parties.
KEADILAN Deputy President Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said he is optimistic the cooperation will continue ahead of the 14th General Election (GE14).
“For the opposition, this is a good start for collaboration and to not be seen as two different blocks.
“I am optimistic about the agreement,” he commented on the matter.
At the same time, Mohamed Azmin said the cooperation is not something new for developed countries, in correcting leakages in the government’s administration.
“We have stated from the beginning that we welcome any party which is prepared to accept a reformation agenda,” he said.
On December 13, the PAKATAN and BERSATU agreement was signed to form a political collaboration to face Barisan Nasional (BN) in the GE14.
