Tun M’s personage to lead Pakatan Harapan to Putrajaya

SHAH ALAM, JUL 14: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’S appointment as Pakatan Harapan Chairman is significant to solidify the coalition and give direction, focus and leadership particularly to face the 14th General Election (GE14).
Pakatan Harapan Vice President, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said, the decision ultimately ends the speculations and questions on the unity and unanimity of the coalition in implementing the people’s aspirations.
“I would like to congratulate Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on his appointment as Pakatan Harapan Chairman after gaining strong support from all members.
“I believe this development will end all speculations and uncertainties relating to the unity and unanimity of Pakatan Harapan ahead of GE14 and in implementing the citizens’ aspirations.
“I am most certain and pledge support and commitment to Tun Dr Mahathir’s leadership to continue to achieve the aim towards Putrajaya,” he said.
Pakatan Harapan yesterday announced a new leadership structure pairing two prominent figures which are Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Tun Mahathir.
Anwar was announced as the De Facto Leader of Pakatan Harapan while Tun Mahathir was appointed as Chairman.
