PH Sungai Kandis grand finale draws 1000

KLANG: August 3 2018 could very well be one of the liveliest night for the people of Taman Sri Andalas, Klang.

As the Pakatan Harapan Sungai Kandis by-election campaign draws to a close, its grand finale event had drew roughly more than 1,000 crowd.

They came, they saw and they listened to a star studded line up of Pakatan Harapan leaders who each gave a fiery speech, sending the crowd home in high spirit.

Among the leaders that was present was PKR President Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PKR Deputy President Mohamed Azmin Ali, Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari, PKR Vice President Tian Chua and Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Xavier Jayakumar.

The event that started around 9.00pm and ended around 11.10pm was less like a campaign and more like a festival with food, beverages, merchandise, toys and other variety of merchants around.

The campaign was a final push for Pakatan Harapan to convince voters to vote for their candidate, Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni.

Zawawi will be facing Barisan Nasional’s Lokman Noor Adam and independent candidate K Murthy tomorrow for the Sungai Kandis state seat.

The Sungai Kandis by-election was called following the death of Shuhaimi Shafiei on July 2 due to lymphoma.
