SHAH ALAM, August 19 — Some 200 participants taking part in the second series of the Selangor Digital Entrepreneur Roadshow will have the opportunity to learn on the know-how of conducting business online.

The one-day programme, organised by the state government through Invest Selangor via Selangor Information Technology & E-Commerce Council (Sitec), features leading e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada Malaysia to showcase the methods behind online business, including on the delivery of goods.

“The registration is open to all but limited to 200 people. So far, we have received an overwhelming response,” said Sitec e-Commerce Divison manager Salman Ahmad when contacted.

Salman added that the programme is also held in collaboration with Boost e-Wallet, Avana, Ninja Van, BungkusIT, Hijrah Selangor, Youbeli and the Bandar Baru Klang community service centre.

The event will be held on Saturday from 8am to 5pm at the Klang Executive Club in Klang.

Some of the agenda of the day include how to sell online on Lazada, Youbeli, and Shopee, starting an e-business via social media platforms, and understanding the use of e-wallet and online transactions by Boost e-Wallet.
