Puchong, Dec 19 — The Kinrara constituency’s community centre came up with various initiatives to assist residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Its state assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the efforts included setting up a food donation cupboard containing basic food items which can be taken as many times as needed.

“We do not distribute (food) supplies from house to house but the affected families can come and take the food (items) at the community service  centre,” said Ng when met yesterday.

The state executive councillor for local government had also set up the Kinrara Kitchen programme that prepares vegetarian food every Sunday starting from 12pm to 2pm.

Ng said so far 137 food packets were distributed and welcomes contributions from all parties.
