130 areas in Shah Alam, Petaling to face water disruption due to burst pipe

SHAH ALAM, Dec 29 — The water supply in two Selangor districts would be cut at 1pm today following a burst pipe incident at Bulatan Persiaran Tengku Ampuan, Section 15, here.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the closure to allow repair works to be carried out will cause water supply disruption to 58 areas in Klang/Shah Alam and 72 areas in Petaling.

“The repair works are expected to be completed by 9pm today and water supply will be distributed to users’ premises as soon as the reparation is completed.

“The period of water supply recovery will vary from one area to another depending on the location and premises’ distances,” it said in a statement today.

Air Selangor advised users to store sufficient water supply and to use water wisely throughout the disruption period.
