MPAJ suspends counter services, conduct online operations

SHAH ALAM, Jan 12 — All services at the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) building will be closed following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) from today until January 26.

Its president Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim said members of the public who have enquiries, issues, complaints and other matters can contact officers on duty (24 hours) by calling 03-42968100 / 42857333 or email to: [email protected].

“All payment such as assessment tax, compounds, licences and other bills can be made online through http://https//:icomm.mpaj.gov.my, while matters concerning business traders can be made via https://intranet.mpaj.gov.my/penjaja.

“MPAJ would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please visit our official website at http://www.mpaj.gov.my to find out more about the latest status of our services,” Mohd Fauzi said through a statement yesterday.

The government began the two-week implementation of the MCO in Selangor, Penang, the Federal Territories (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan), Melaka, Johor and Sabah starting today.
