Selangor Kerjaya match candidate’s profile to meet job requirement

By Nadiah Zamlus

SHAH ALAM, Jan 29 — The smart profiling system of Selangor Kerjaya is able to match the profile of the candidates to suit the job requirements.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the skills-matching process is conducted to ensure that the applicant fulfils the employer’s needs.

“Through the programme, training would be offered to enhance the candidate’s skills to ensure quality, results as well as high job retention,” said Amirudin on Facebook.

He said Selangor Kerjaya is one of the initiatives by Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) and offers several features that other job search engines do not have.

“For job seekers, register immediately at www.selangorkerjaya.com.my to learn of its benefits,” he said.

On Tuesday, Amirudin announced that the programme will offer 10,000 job opportunities in the next three years of post-pandemic.

The target for this year is to ensure a total of 2,000 jobs will be filled by tertiary education, high school and vocational training graduates.

The state-led effort is also aimed at those who lost their jobs or source of income during the movement control order (MCO) imposed to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
