Virtual KL Startup Summit 2021 to commence on Mar 26

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 — The first edition virtual Kuala Lumpur Startup Summit (KLSS) 2021 scheduled for March 26 – 28 aims to help enable local startups to make a real impact in markets and drive digital innovation.

In a statement, KLSS 2021 director, Inbaraj Suppiah said the summit will be held in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia as the main sponsor.

“This summit is going to be action-oriented, with all stakeholders and partners committed to providing resources for the growth of the Malaysian startup ecosystem,” he said.

He said the summit will be focused on early-stage startups and founders where the aim is to inspire new startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as help them connect with investors, mentors, corporates, partners, and talent.

“The various sessions at KLSS 2021 will comprise insightful talks, interactive discussion panels and a series of masterclass workshops by successful startup founders, ecosystem builders, investors, corporates and government partners,” he said.

Themed ‘Talk Less, Do More’, KLSS 2021 will also host a JomHack hackathon and Ideathon designed for tertiary students who are interested in entrepreneurship.
