Seldec offers RM200 incentive to food delivery riders, drivers

SHAH ALAM, April 3 —The Selangor Digital e-Supply Chain (Seldec) is offering a RM200 incentive to food delivery personnel who are in service until the last day of Ramadan.

Its Business Development general manager Mohd Fauzan Elham said the initiative is to encourage more riders and drivers to register under the company.

“They will also enjoy the Socso protection and accidents benefits in the event of an unwarranted incident while working.

“Seldec hopes more people will register because we need up to 500 delivery riders and drivers during Ramadan,” he told SelangorKini.

He said those who are interested can register at the link dapur.seldec.com.my/join/rider/.

“Among the requirement for the application is must be 18 years old and above (applicants aged 50 years and above must undergo a health examination).

“Probationary license holder is also eligible to apply while the vehicle insurance coverage certificate must be in the name of the applicant,” he said.

Seldec was launched on October 3, 2019, to help merchants increase revenue through online sales.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said Seldec was used to market agricultural produce, small entrepreneur products and wet goods on a larger scale.
