LZS receives business tithe totalling RM3.1 mln from Worldwide Holdings, Sime Darby Property

SHAH ALAM, April 20 — Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has received business tithe contributions totalling RM3,138,995 from Worldwide Holdings Berhad and Sime Darby Property on behalf of the Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS).

In a statement today, LZS said the presentation ceremony of the business tithe was held at the Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Mosque in Bukit Jelutong here yesterday.

Worldwide Holdings Bhd chief executive officer Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria presented to the Sultan RM2,138,995 as the company’s business tithe contribution for the financial year of 2020.

Sime Darby Property group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican, on the other hand, presented their business tithe contribution of RM1 million.
