Sidec: Raya e-Bazaar campaign helps traders stay afloat, encourages more to register

SHAH ALAM, April 21 — Small and micro-entrepreneurs are encouraged to register for the Selangor Raya e-Bazaar sale campaign to continue generating income during the challenging economic situation following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) said the effort also helped entrepreneurs move towards digitalisation in conducting their businesses.

“This campaign, an initiative by the state government, aims to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises implement digitalisation so that they can continue to survive following Covid-19.

“SME traders and micro traders need only to register on the Shopee and Lazada e-commerce platforms to enjoy discount vouchers worth RM2 million from the Selangor state government,” said the agency on Facebook.
