Tengku Amir joins flood assistance mission in Sungai Lui

SHAH ALAM, Jan 20 — The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, participated in the flood assistance mission alongside several other agencies at Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat yesterday.

In a Facebook statement, the Selangor Royal Office said Tengku Amir went on ground to the flood-stricken areas to personally see the aftermath of the disaster.

“Aside from witnessing the post-flood destruction, Tengku Amir also visited the flood victims and handed in donations,” read the statement.

The handover programme was organised by Toyota Malaysia in collaboration with the Raja Muda Selangor Foundation, the Selangor Youth Community, the Selangor Football Association, and the Selangor FC.

On December 19 last year, Tengku Amir Shah Similarly visited flood victims in Selangor and passed some donations to those affected.

He bought the necessities on his own at the Checkers Supermarket in Shah Alam, before distributing the assistance to residents in Section 16 and Taman Meru Jaya, Klang.
