Selangor invites youths to join unity ambassador programme, develop leadership skills

SHAH ALAM, June 28 — The state government has invited youths from Selangor to participate in the inaugural 2022 Selangor Unity Ambassador programme.

State executive councillor for unity Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the programme is aimed at producing leaders who can embody the spirit of unity and can strengthen unity among the people of Selangor.

“Participants will be given intensive training and skills specifically related to unity before practising it among the community.

“Additionally, participants are also provided with a communication platform to voice their views on the state government’s leadership and given exposure to it,” she said in a statement issued by Selangor State Unity and Integration Council today.

At the same time, participants will be given allocations to run various programmes, as well as receiving participation allowances and the opportunity to participate in official visits abroad.

Applications must be emailed to [email protected] before 6pm on June 30.
