Selangor Sultan, Perak Sultan visit Raja Tun Uda Library

 SHAH ALAM, Aug 14 —The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj today welcomes a visit by the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah to the Raja Tun Uda Library here. 

The Selangor Royal Office on Facebook said the Selangor Ruler was accompanied by the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.

“This is the first visit by His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin to the Raja Tun Uda Library. Their Royal Highnesses also took time to visit the reading and interactive sections in the library,” the statement read.

Apart from that, the Perak Ruler was also taken to see Sultan Sharafuddin’s personal book collection totalling about 2,470 books that the Selangor Ruler had contributed to the library.

The Pustaka Raja Tun Uda library was opened on December 10, 2011, and is the brainchild of Sultan Sharafuddin. As of now, the library has a total of 360,000 books with 7.68 million visitors recorded.
