The state government has allocated RM3.4 million to realise Selangor Saring, which is expected to benefit up to 39,000 residents with a history of hereditary ailments, obese individuals, or those leading unhealthy lifestyles.

In addition to detecting breast cancer, the programme, which runs until September 4 also offers physical screenings, blood and urine tests, eyes, cervical, occult stool or colorectal tests, as well as prostate tests.

Today the programme will be held at Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Chuang Rasa for residents of the Kuala Kubu Bharu and Batang Kali state constituencies.
